074 Tropical Paradise - Alicante Holiday

Our visit got off to ther worst possible start because of the difficulty in accessing the property. Seeing as we weren't arriving at asn unearthly hour in the middle of the night but at a civilised 5.50pm, I'd have thought the office could have done far more to welcome us instead of sending us on a wild goose chase. Having eventually found the keys to our property in a locked box outside the office which wasn't particularly easy to find, we were at first sent to the wrong address for our apartment. This led to me disturbing a Belgian couple in their home near Mercadona.. They told me that a complex along the same road might be what we were looking for but, of course, it wasn't. But for the help then provided by three Polish people we encountered, we might never have found the right property. Lola, my contact at the office, was no help at all. She refused to answer her phone and belatedly sent us a message saying that the property we were looking for was at a completely diferent address a mile away. For that, we were given the wrong entry code which led to yet another delay until some fellow redsidents told us the correct entry code.. This ordeal lasted a total of three hours and I would appreciate a refiund of at least 100 euros for the inconvenience and aggravation we suffered.

Electrical lights with loose wiring, shutters that did not work. Doors that did not shut. Dirty sink. Noisy neighbours with barking dogs.
