Extremely Disappointing Stay – Ant Infestation and Poor Management Ruined Our Trip
I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel compelled to share our experience to warn other travelers.
We stayed at this property as a family, including our 7-year-old child, and from the moment we arrived on May 1st, the apartment was in unacceptable condition. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and, most alarmingly, completely overrun by ants.
Upon arrival, we found the apartment unclean, with a foul-smelling, used wet mop left in the closet and grime in the oven and under the microwave. But the most serious issue was the ant infestation — ants were everywhere: on the kitchen counters, tables, fridge, bathroom, bedroom, and even the bed. The only place without ants at first was the balcony.
We reported the problem immediately. A cleaner and pest control technician were sent the next day, and we had some hope — but the situation only got worse. Ants continued to invade every part of the apartment, and despite my repeated communication, the issue remained unresolved for the entire duration of our 10-day stay.
What followed was a week-long back-and-forth with different staff members, with each one passing us off to someone else. Though they claimed to take action, nothing effectively resolved the issue. We were told pest control had treated the apartment, but there was no noticeable improvement. By day 7, I was still sending photos and videos proving that the infestation was worse than ever — and still receiving excuses.
To make matters worse, their response included a false claim that we left bags of garbage in the apartment, which was entirely untrue. We had been extremely careful to dispose of all trash immediately, knowing any crumbs would attract more ants — yet they still blamed us for the problem.
This issue made it impossible to enjoy our stay. We couldn’t unpack, eat meals, or relax in the apartment. My child was scared to eat or sleep there.

Avoid this property if you expect basic cleanliness, pest control, or responsive management.
