“Guests were very badly looked after.”
The best

Not enough staff. Took 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar. Only 1 lady on duty for breakfast poor lady was rushed off her feet an expected to tend the bar as well. Lazy manager walked around with his hands in his pockets doing nothing. I felt so sorry for the lady. Manager should be ashamed of himself.

To be improved

Poor attendance of bar staff. Waited ages for a drink. In the end we went out.

The best

Quiet location, secure parking, huge bed, small private garden area with loungers and an outdoor spa bath. The room had started to show its age slightly but was fine for us. Brilliant air conditioning and a small fridge. Room was clean, tidy and smelled nice Breakfast was included and was plentiful and lots of choice. Loved the coffee machine and little glass pots of homemade yogurt. Staff were all cheerful and happy.

To be improved

The hotel restaurant was closed...again was it too early in the season? The reception staff helped by trying to advise where we could eat in the evenings, not a lot of local choice for a vegetarian and someone allergic to fish, so we ended up going Italian for our stay ten minutes walk up the road.

The best

Modern and contemporary rooms in a nice hotel with free parking on the edge of Gijón. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Good facilities in a nice environment.

Coffee pods were nice but you only got 2 for free.
