“A few simple things could have made this accommodation a lot better”

The best

The self contained apartment was very spacious and had nice marble floors. It also had a fridge, cook top and a toasting/baking appliance. Two single beds, but I found mattress and pillows comfortable enough. The apartment is a little hard to find at first, but the agent shared a short video which shows the way. The apartment is close to a nice square, restaurants and shops - more of a locals area, however it’s also only 10 minutes walk from many of the key tourist attractions.

To be improved

From the code box outside the room I got 3 keys for building front door, apartment door and electricity. The front door key didn’t work so I had to call a phone number to open the door each time. The agent continued to say that the key was working and I was turning it the wrong way. I know how to use a key. This meant that I had to change my travel phone plan which cost me an extra AUD $40 during my stay so I could get back into the apartment each time I returned by calling the number. There was no hot water when I arrived so I had to problem solve and fix it myself (the valve attached to the hot water in the cupboard was turned off). This probably wont happen again, but for me it was not the best way to arrive. I couldn’t have a shower after a long day of travel and I had to make an urgent change to my phone plan to get back into my apartment after my first venture out. The furniture is very cheap and basic, which is a shame in such a beautiful apartment. The shower was so small I couldn’t bend down to get soap and hair products off the floor. There was no rack for these on the wall. However Cordoba is wonderful, and you should still visit.

The numbering for the apartments when you enter the building was a little confusing, and the apartment was a little noisy, however overall it was a great experience.

the location was excellent and the property well taken care of. Everything was clean enough. However, Teo towels were dirty, but luckily we had our own. In general, it was a good value for the money.

To be improved

maybe the two dirty towels, but it was not a big deal.
