2x bedroom Holiday with Teide Views in Heated Pool Complex FC407

The regular drain smell in and outside the property and in the local area. Little noise insulation which allows noisy neighbours to spoil the peace and quiet especially overnight. Nearby construction work because of the dust and noise but you do get used to it. The area has become quite run down post Covid with many of the local restaurants having shut down.

Sound insulation - upstairs neighbours living room above our bedroom. Sound insulation so poor we heard everything. At night I could hear the tearing toilet paper from the roll, that's how bad sound insulation. Anything they did, woke us up. Open water tap, flush toilet, talk on phone, talk to each other, push a chair, walk across the room etc. Every morning we were woken up at about 7:00-7:30am, we came to rest and couldn't sleep! Construction site sounds all day were on top of it, we had to shut terrace door because of noise we couldn't hear each other talk. Not what you expect from holiday in Tenerife. Teide views - yes if can look past tower crane and construction site. Can't even take a picture. Hiperdino closest to the comolex prices were 80% to double of what we saw elsewhere on island. Shocking. Cashier gave me 10€ less change and when said you need to give me 10 euro more, she pretended to check something in the till and gave me 10 back but wasn't surprised at all by it. She obviously knew what she was doing. Nothing within walking distance to eat or so, other than bar by the pool and that 54 place by the bins where all the same people were drinking every night. We were looking just leave it and rent elsewhere half way through our stay but couldn't find anything for next day.

Mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable in my opinion .
