“DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Absolute disaster from start to finish, holiday from hell and I wouldn’t recommend anyone book this”

We have stayed in Sabrina before so we enjoy the location and have family close by but that was about it. This was a nightmare from start to finish

Construction works ongoing outside apartment, noisy all day! With works and music, materials left everywhere causing hazards including wires on the staircases Mold on the walls in the bathroom following a recent flood that we were only told about on the day of arrival, terrible smell in apartment and damage to the walls The keys had to be picked up from a box 15 min drive away, very annoying considering we didn’t have a car we only found this out the week before the stay Full amount required plus €300 euro on booking! The boiler did not work resulting in no hot water for most of our stay having to constantly reset the boiler, ZAP holidays were no help whatsoever and didn’t send someone to check until day 5 of our stay, we also doubt this ever happened at all as we were around when the visit occurred

The location of the property is great,the apartment is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay

To be improved

The key collection for this property is more complicated than necessary.the key safe is a 5 -7 min car journey away .we have stayed in this complex a number of times before and the key was always in a key safe at the property,the key cannot be picked up before 4pm but had to be returned by 10.00 am on the day of departure.just be aware you will need to stop for the key on your way from the airport and the same on the way back. Communication with the management company is very poor,I had to contact them by telephone 24hrs before departure as I had no information ref check in.i had sent numerous emails and messages via the booking.com app but didn’t get a reply

Lack of basic items ie sun loungers, toilet paper , very stringent rules regarding cleaning etc wifi code was incorrect but was sorted after a few days. Air con units needed serviced and were done on the final day of holiday. Staff were apologetic but could've been addressed sooner

“Fantastic trip away, a few issues early doors however these were sorted quickly by Zap staff, Robin and Eugini”

I loved the location of the property, having been to La zenia many times, it was very handy for many of our favourite bars and shops

To be improved

The air conditioning in the master bedroom didn’t appear to work properly and I found it very difficult to sleep in the room each night. Was like an oven, this was using the AirCon and the fan - also I think it would be better to have a key safe at the property as we arrived late and found it difficult to locate office to get keys in the dark.
