“5-day stay in December”

The best

The location is excellent, and the views from the balcony are lovely. The balcony itself is a highlight, featuring armchairs and a dining table that seats four to five people. The apartment is small but cozy—ideal for two people, or perhaps a couple with a child. There’s a comfortable double bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room. While the bed is comfortable, the pillows are a bit too low. The apartment is equipped with two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The furniture is in fairly good condition, and the shower is excellent, offering good water pressure. The building is well-maintained and very clean. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent throughout our stay. We arrived on a holiday when the office was closed, but the agency conveniently left the keys in a locker just in front of the building. Raul and Hana’s attention and support were outstanding throughout our stay.

To be improved

It was probably our oversight not to request two sets of keys. Being a couple with occasionally different plans, having only one set was inconvenient. Additionally, finding the entrance to the block was challenging, and I had to experiment with the keys to determine which one fit the door lock (there are several doors before reaching the block). The shower drain was blocked initially, but Raul resolved the issue the next day—much appreciated! However, the sofa is quite uncomfortable for sitting (we haven’t tried sleeping on it). A winter duvet or comforter would be more suitable than the provided light blanket, especially for December. The toiletries provided were only enough for one person, although the booking was for two. It would also be helpful to have more glasses and cutlery—there were just three drinking glasses and two wine glasses. This would make the flat more practical, as it would reduce the need to run the dishwasher after every meal. Lastly, a couple of coffee capsules and a bottle of water as a welcome gesture would be a thoughtful touch.
