“Lovely spacious Villa”

The best

Lovely villa, lots of room and everything you need. Dan, the owner is so helpful. Advising us where to eat etc... gardener came and mowed the lawn and cleaned the pool. Bathrooms are all very clean and fresh. The port is very pretty with quite a few bars and restaurants. There are generally plenty of taxis at the rank, too.

To be improved

We knew it wasn't on the doorstep of the port, butit is quite a distance, though.... Walking down is OK, 20 minutes or so... but Taxi's back up as it's quite a steep climb! Dan mentioned he's hoping to do the gardens soon. They need a bit of TLC.

The property is in a very good location, close to restaurants and the beach. There is an Indian restaurant close by, “Mini Indian” and a fish and chips restaurant “Marlowe”, where we ate and were very good. The property was clean and every room had air-conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. All rooms had their own bathroom or shower room, except two bedrooms downstairs which shared a shower room, but this was no problem either. The kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge, and it was fun cooking at the villa. The pool was very clean and well-maintained. The terrace had beautiful views which was a bonus in the evenings when we were eating on the terrace. The hosts Dan and Elisa could be easily contacted and were very attentive to all our needs.

To be improved

That there is no internal staircase joining the bottom and upper floors,as the two storeys are joined by an outdoor staircase. This would not be an issue, only we had babies and we were reluctant leaving the babies sleeping downstairs at night as it was ‘separate’ from the upper floor where we had the main living room and kitchen. We had them in the upper bedroom but sometimes they would wake up because it is the main living area. I would not advice anybody with a physical disability to hire this villa as it is not prepared for wheelchairs.

“Superb”

The best

Dan & Elisa were amazing. They were very helpful throughout the stay and before helping us with selecting a transfer from Malaga. Villa is spacious and the pool is a good size and ideal for families. Quiet location just a short walk to the port and beach. Facilities like supermarket just a few minutes walk and cab service was quick and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again. 👌

To be improved

Mattress and pillows could do with being updated. A fridge downstairs would also benefit the villa.

“Fantastic villa and location for a family holiday”

The best

Shops, bars, restaurants and beach only 10 minute walk away. Good base for day trip to Gibraltar, Tarifa etc. Villa has plenty of space indoors and outdoors ( great pool and terrace areas. Well equipped kitchen. All rooms and bathrooms beautifully presented. Hosts Dan and Elisa were really welcoming and helpful throughout the booking and stay .

Couldn’t fault the property. Would definitely book again!!
