One of the reasons we booked this particular apartment was because it says there is a pool in the name of the listing, well infact there is more than one, but nowhere did it say that it only opens from June, so when it opened the day we left (31st May) you can imagine how disappointing this was for our children. Baring in mind the apartment is still amazing and the sea is only meter's away.

We booked this place (family w 3 young kids) because it was a great location for my girls and I to be while my husband and son went on a day long fishing trip. We were driving from Valencia and I had reached out to our host to request an earlier check in as my husband needed to be an hour away by 2pm. Early check in impossible in Spain (noooobody is accommodating) regardless if you have young kids or not. The host refused to answer my call when I needed immediate answers, instead I had to keep waiting for whatsapp responses. They offered to hold our luggage for 1.5 hours at reception. We managed to change into swim suits in a bathroom and sit by the pool until we needed to collect luggage. No loungers. No chairs. Towels on the concrete ground. We collected our luggage at the time we were told and basically hung around in the lobby (with no seating) until we were told our apartment was ready. 3 hours later I was told it was ready when I went to reception to notify her (the receptionist spoke not one single word of english) we communicated through translator, she told me I would need to wait 1 hour. I insisted our host said it was ready. I ahowed her my message. She saidn no and indicated on the clock I had to wait one hour (until 4:30) my girls were starving and I couldnt drag all of our luggage through the town. I told her again that we have been waiting and our host told us it was ready (3:30) she looked at me, turned around, reached for the key and handed them to me. Soooo the room was ready but for whatever reason she just thought I should keep waiting!? Unbelievable. Mind you I even offered an extra fee earlier for early check in. Once we got to the room I was so disappointed. The smell was terrible I had to open all the doors to get whatever that cleaning smell was out of there. We dropped our luggage off and left for the day.

No air conditioning in bedrooms & smaller room gets quite hot in warmer weather. Staff were friendly & helpful with the exception of one of the female receptionists who was extremely rude, unhelpful & basically did not want to know you !!
