“188.00 for one night......”

Not far from the airport - 42 euros in a taxi. - the room was clean

There was bad weather in Barcelona on Friday the 11 07 2025, the airport was basically closed and many flights were cancelled or delayed. My flight was diverted to Malaga then landed in Barcelona after my connecting flight to London left. All the hotels in Barcelona increased their room rates, I paid 188.00 Euros for 1 night without breakfast, I arrived at 22.00 and leaving at 08.00, if I wanted to stay the next day the room rate was 75 per night !! This is just so wrong. 60-70 Euros a night is about right for what you get. NOT 188.00 Euros !! Also there is no reception, so check in was a nightmare, on line check in and uploading documents and ID.... just a nightmare from start to finish. The last thing you need when you have been travelling for 18 hours. It's year 2025 and I have lost all faith in the human race, it's all about money.....

Quiet location. We left too early for breakfast. Comfortable and clean.

It was 2am, all we wanted was to sleep as we had a very early start in the morning
