The staff was fantastic. I felt very safe. The actual location in the city is wonderful. The apartment itself is well equipped and nicely laid out - bed comfy! The housekeeping was thoughtful.

To be improved

The pool is freezing. The bar was not open on the rooftop. :( There was blood on the sheets when I got there. They must have seen this as they put a sheet over it, which in America we call a top sheet so I tried to use it. That was my first night. I then noticed around midnight a BAM BAM BAM NOISE. this is the base from the night club across the street. This caused a problem sleeping on the weekend nights.

To be improved

We booked for 2 adults and 3 very young kids. They have a policy on 4 people per apartment. The kids could sleep in one bed but it wasn’t allowed. We had to move to another location (nearby) without a pool. I notified apartment of this via booking and if I had of known it wasn’t allowed I would’ve chosen somewhere else cheaper with a pool. The staff did the what they could and were great, but almost 900 euros for 2 nights without a pool moving around with all our baggage wasn’t worth it.

The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The appliances all worked well.

To be improved

The only thing that stood out in a negative way was that the main trash can lid was broken. It is such a minor thing compared to how wonderful it was.

The best

We had a great stay at the hotel. The facilities and decor are very new which was lovely. We were impressed with the clever design features they’d included. All the staff were very friendly as well as the location is convenient to all of Madrids amazing sights!
