To Monique and Nicolas, Thank you so much for the lovely stay – I felt very comfortable and really enjoyed my time at your place in El Hierro. Also, a big thank you to Thomas and Angelique for the nice shared moments and the trips – it was great spending time together. You all helped make my stay on El Hierro very special. Wishing you all the best – and maybe we’ll meet again sometime!

It was more like a ‘homestay’ rather than a hostel.

It was like visiting my own family I haven't seen for a long time.

Nicolas is a lovely host. He's doing everything for his guests to benefit of the best accommodation. Futhermore, he shares his knowledge about the best place to see, to eat and to wander on the amazing island of El hierro. I've enjoyed spending my time here.

Clean, tidy and characterful hostel with amazing owners. I stayed a week here and loved it! It is in a great, peaceful location next to a natural swimming pool. And there is a bus stop right outside, which was very handy for me as I didn't have a car. The beds were comfortable and I slept super well. Everyone there was nice and friendly. Nicolas, the owner, is an amazing person, who knows all about the hiking routes, the swimming places, everything on the island. He speaks French, English and Spanish and is very attentive to his guests' needs. His wife also paints and they have a little makeshift coffee shop where she exhibits her art and you can also sit and watch the sunset in the evening and then listen to the pardela birds. You are in great hands at this hostel! Highly recommend!
