The reception we received from the owner and his daughter was lovely. They were warm and friendly and exactly the type of giving spirit you'd hope for on the Camino. He provided some excellent advice and recommendations, as well as giving the pilgrims the free access they needed to any tea/coffee making facilities/ the kitchen - downstairs. Even though we didn't help ourselves to the free cereal (and milk), we were grateful for some breakfast biscuits. I liked how he didn't 'restrict' what pilgrims wanted to take and simply relied on our respect for others and for him. My cousin ad I were walking the Portuguese Camino and enjoyed having the opportunity of our own beds (rather than sharing a double to keep costs down or where a single-bed option was no longer available). The bedroom was big enough but with two single beds, slightly on the 'snug' side, but that said - it as very clean, well maintained and there were also tea/coffee provisions and towels also made available for the modern bathroom. The shower wasn't strong despite timing it when pilgrims were mostly out, but did the trick well enough (it just meant that it took longer). I noticed there was also a laundry facility but we didn't use this. This is definitely worth the stay and right on the route, you can't go wrong.

One of the nicest places i have stayed. Right on the Camino path and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The host was fantastic, so friendly and gave many recommendations of what to see / where to eat in the area Rooms are cosy, exceptionally clean and the shower was amazing. Breakfast and coffee is a lovely touch. Would recommend anyone on their Camino to stay here for some luxury :) The fridge in the room and AC was a welcome touch too
