“A perfect cottage, we will be back!!”

This was our second visit to A Casa de Abaixo, a very clean, beautiful and tastefully renovated cottage. It was as we remembered it, a perfect place of peace and tranquility. Alicia and Jesus were so very welcoming and provided us with eggs, home-grown vegetables, home-made bread, milk, lemons, water, flowers - a wonderful start to our short stay. Alicia and Jesus are caring and loving people and so easy to chat with. We enjoyed their company a lot!

“Absolutely perfect rural home with an even better host.”

The house is absolutely perfect with everything you need and in the most peaceful and beautiful location. Alicia is a true superhost; she gave us many great recommendations, left us some delicious produce, and was always making sure we had everything we needed. We would love to return again.

To be improved

The house had everything we needed. Nothing really comes to mind for things to improve. Car is absolutely necessary to get to places to eat and to travel to and from Santiago.
