Best rustic and rural experience. The fully renovated stone house sits at the heart of a gorgeous village. The village is still inhabited, giving you a glimpse of life in rural Galicia, with all its perks and challenges. On top of it, the hosts and neighbors are welcoming and lovely. The area is super walkable, close to a network of trails in the maritime pine forest. Just a 5-minute drive away, Ribadavia offers cultural spots and several cafés and restaurants. Also strategically located to visit Ribeira Sacra and Ourense.

Our stay at this charming little cottage was absolutely delightful. Nestled amidst nature with a majestic mountain providing a stunning backdrop, the location itself felt like a breath of fresh air. The traditional granaries in front of the house added a unique and picturesque touch. The cottage itself was incredibly cosy and beautiful, with a kitchenette and amenities like air conditioning, television, and reliable WiFi. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The owner deserves special mention for his exceptional kindness. Even when we contacted him quite late for directions, he was incredibly helpful and patient in guiding us. Thanks to previous reviews regarding the narrow road leading to the property, which allowed us to be prepared for the drive. Overall, this cottage offers a tranquil and comfortable escape. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty and hosted by a truly welcoming owner.

Incredible place in a very special little village. it's like time traveling. The house is very cozy, comfortable and perfectly equipped. We will repeat it.
