A Ribeira do Tambre

Our stay with Dominic was truly exceptional! He and his partner were friendly and gracious hosts. The drive to get there was as if we were travelling back in time to a small hamlet. The room was beautifully appointed and included a small fridge. Robes were provided to use when indulging in the hot tub! The ground were beautiful, lush green, sitting areas, and views of rolling hills. All wonderful! However, the true highlight was Dominic's cooking!!! From the sumptuous breakfast spread that included fresh bread and fruit to the evening meals! We had tender scallops cooked and served in their shells; excellent salads, and braised beef cheeks that surpassed any we had in subsequent culinary visits, including France! It was a truly magical experience and we highly recommend!!

The food at this place is exceptional--best we had anywhere on this trip! The chef is exceptional and the dining room is rustic in a really beautiful way. This place is quiet, lovely and a great find.

A wonderful oasis in the Galicia's countryside, few kilometers away from Santiago di Compostela and a small hour driving from costa de la muerte. The rooms building is surrounded by a wonderful quiet garden where you can enjoy a drink or just rest. The rooms are spacious and furnished with taste. Nice breakfast and wonderful restaurant: delicious food cooked with love and care! The host is very competent and ready to offer any kind of suggestions to make your experience in Galicia unique. We really recommend a stay here: we were extremely happy :-)

We loved this place. Dominique is an attentive host and helped make it stay perfect. We liked the comfort of the rooms, beds and bathrooms -it was all great. We especially liked the garden where we hung out and relaxed. It was very peaceful. The restaurant was super and we had great breakfasts there plus a dinner. All perfect. Overall he had a great stay. What a fabulous hotel.

Clean, excellently decorated, and great location with fab views. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the guests feel at home.

The hosts Dominic and Irene were super client- friendly, showed a great hospitality, and moreover gave us nice suggestions for interesting spots. Those people put passion in their job in an outstanding way,... seldom seen. The setting is beautiful, the room very clean, the food - dinner and breakfast - were gorgious..
