“Magnífica!”
The location, the cleanliness and the staff it was everything you would want in a hotel. I’m also gluten free and they were able to accommodate. Rooftop was great after a long day of walking !
Nothing perfect find for a city break
“Lovely stay with Abba, but rooms not soundproof.”
The hotel is very nice, well situated in the centre of Seville. The location of the hotel is probably the best part as it was close to everything. The rooms were large, clean and had good air conditioning for the hot summer days in Seville. The staff was lovely and friendly.
My room was not soundproof. I heard everything going on outside on the street. From the people talking to street performers, I heard everything! The bathroom couldve been a bit cleaner, but not bad.
“Some good some average!”
Good parts - location amazing for seeing all sites and restaurants locality. Breakfast choice plentiful and rooftop bar area amazing and staff at both superb thank you. Bad parts - on arrival had been allocated a twin room when we booked a deluxe double, I enquired and confirmed we had booked months ago with hotel directly and booked a deluxe double room only to be told none available come back to reception tomorrow will see if any free. I explained it was our 43 anniversary and I wanted it to be perfect, she said there was nothing on the reservations to state that, I confirmed no - I hadn't mentioned it, as I wasn't expecting anything from them just the deluxe double room I had booked. We were in a room on the first floor at the front, right above the cafe/restaurant below which at 7 am every morning drags all the chairs and tables from inside to out, so all you here is furniture being scraped along the floor for 40 minutes then again at night when they put it away. The guest noise from the restaurant was fine. This I realise is beyond the hotels remit. Lastly electricity kept tripping, we put on the TV on our 3rd day as my partner was in bed ill with Flu, this tripped the lights. An electrician came and said it was a motion sensor if no one moved in room, but lights tripping off when you are in the shower and someone moving in main room area is not a motion issue. Obvious signs of previous water leak from shower in bedroom area (damaged decoration) and squeaky bathroom door, basic maintenance issues. Would i stay again? Not sure. At 970 € I expected better.
“Great hotel and location”
Very nice staff always willing to make your stay comfortable. The staff on the roof top were not as friendly and sometimes even rude. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to most attractions. The cafes and bars were abundant.
“Modern build hotel on edge of old town with great location and views, lovely interiors and good breakfast.”
The location of the ABBA Sevilla Hotel is ideal, at the start of the pedestrian way so accessible by taxi but walking distance through the old town to the historic buildings ( Cathedral, Real Alcazar and Gerald’s Tower). The rooftop bar and restaurant have a fantastic view and serve nice food and drink. However there don’t seem to be enough staff at some times meaning service is slow, some staff can be stressed, and you can’t eat despite there being empty tables. The rooftop area is small with about 12 beds and plenty of fresh towels. The pool was very chilly but had a fantastic view! A great spot if you time it right to get a spot. The original room I had booked was a superior with courtyard. I had not realised there is no view at all from the room and is usually booked by smokers who can use their own private courtyard of the rooms French doors. The concierge team thankfully were able to move me - to an available 5th floor room with an amazing view which made the extra payment worthwhile. Breakfast was great with a wide spread of food, constantly topped up, a good bean to cup coffee machine (including decaf) and fantastic pastries. Definitely try the pain au chocolat! Overall a great stay in a wonderful city and would return to this hotel.
“Great hotel, great location.”
Stayed here for a long weekend, absolutely perfect location, rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, the highlight is the incredible views from the rooftop bar and restaurant area, some of the best in the city! The only downsides were the lack of storage areas in the room, as we stayed for a wedding we struggled to put all our and our kids clothes away. Other than that a great stay.
