Really friendly staff, always really clean everywhere and room cleaning was always done with clean towels. Wide variety of different food selections in the restaurant but also in the various snack bar options!!

The hotel was lovely. Clean. Good food. And although it did not spoil our holiday the evening adult entertainment was very poor, childish and amateurish.

Wow, what an amazing place! We contacted the hotel direct ahead of arrival, to request a sea view upgrade. Kevin was helpful and quick to reply to emails. We were allocated room 528 on the 5th floor. The room was spotless, two single pushed together with a sofa bed for 15 year old daughter. All were sooooo comfortable - had a great night's sleep every night! Bathroom was lovely, again spotless. Powerful rainfall shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Also a hairdryer (didnt use this though as I always take my own due to long/thick hair). Rooms cleaned every day and maid was lovely and cheery. Air conditioning was fab too. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, but if there's more than two people, take some extra with you. Thankfully we always do anyway. Safe is inside the wardrobe and is €2 per night. Good size too - easily fit an iPad in. Plenty of plug sockets in the room and a lovely big TV in room, with BBC News and Sky News. Restaurant - there was always a good selection of food. Even my daughter who has an eating disorder found something that she could eat. Drinks - we were standard AI package and was plentiful. Beer, white/rose wine, sangria, soft drinks, water and hot drinks were available 24 hours a day (really useful outside of bar opening hours). Sandwiches/cakes/pastries were also available 24 hours a day. The entertainment was good - the animation team were always full of energy and smiling. We never struggled for a sun bed after breakfast and there is a guy that goes round and folds up towels and leaves a note on the bed and will remove if you don't return. This stops people reserving beds and going out for most of the day. The location of the hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants and also the beach. A little further walk takes you to the centre of the resort. Overall, we had an amazing short break here and I genuinely would recommend the hotel to anyone. Every single member of staff we came into contact with were so lovely. Keep up the excellent standards Abora Continental!

Ideal location to shops restaurants and the sea and beautiful walks.If I return to the Grand Canaries I will be staying at this hotel.The food and desserts were excellent and as our family had premium all inclusive the drinks were top shelf The rooms were kept spotless by the amazing cleaning staff and overall the hotel was fantastic and suited all 12 of our family group aged between 5 years to 66 years
