“Okay stay but bad service”

Good: the rooftop. Room: simple. nothing special. Cleaning: super. Service: bad. Most of the staff did not think we lived at the hotel based on our looks. We dont have tattoos, and we look pretty normal scandinavian types wearing a jeans and a top/t-shirt most days. Nothing special about our looks. But still the staff asked us several times if we lived at the hotel when we were entering the building or the rooftop. We could just say we lived here, but it’s a principal and got really annoying. The stay was fine. But we won’t stay at this hotel next time we are in Malaga because of the bad service.

“Great Location”

The best

The room was compact but not cramped, thanks to all the storage space. The bathroom was spacious and bright, with lots of counter space. We loved the patio and spent a few evenings enjoying wine outside. The breakfast was definitely worth it, with a huge spread and great service. And location was perfect — walking distance to all the places we wanted to go. Our only complaint was how warm the room was — the sun beat down on it all day, so it got really warm inside and, since it was February so the air conditioning wasn’t on yet, stayed really warm all night (to the point where it was hard to sleep). Next time we’ll request a room facing the other direction away from the sun.

“Very enjoyable stay”

The best

We spent an excellent couple of nights here. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony with view of the sea and cathedral. The location is fantastic and staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

“Disappointing wine.”

The best

Visited the rooftop bar on Feb 10th. Asked for glass of red wine, wine was absolutely disgusting, smell, taste! Bar waitress over explained how their wines had good turn over,wouldn't be used after 2 weeks/ 2 days. However she came back with an unopened bottle, which was opened in front of us and was fine. Disappointing service for a 4 star hotel.

“Great location and extremely comfortable.”

The best

Brilliant location at the base of the town centre with comfortable rooms and some lovely views over the port. The roof terrace provides great close up of the cathedral. It was a birthday visit and we were looked after beautifully and nice surprise in the room on the day. All the staff were friendly and helpful and a special shout out to our room attendant who responded to any request with speed and a smile.
