Acta Atrium Palace

Comfortable clean hotel in good central location. Lovely breakfast but let down by not offering anything on day of departure as we had to check out half an hour before breakfast due to time of flight. Other hotels I have stayed in have provided something e.g.coffee and pastries. The hotel has no bar/lounge so bear in mind when booking although it does offer a free coffee machine until 9.00pm.

I stayed in room 705. Most of the hotel was nice but my room was average and it was one of the higher end rooms (terrace room), we walked into a hot room in February which was strange as it wasn’t that hot outside. Finally tracked down the heat coming from the fridge, the fridge was extremely old/hot and everything inside was warm as well. I unplugged the fridge and turned on the AC but it was still hot a majority of the night. Our bathtub had been obviously previous patched which is ok but this is a 4 star hotel. To be fair I should’ve complained and not toughed it out the whole night. Check in was great, they let us check in early which was a plus and the breakfast was great, the breakfast was unexpectedly really great so I’d recommend including it with your reservation if you stay.

My husband and I booked a 4 night 3 day getaway to Barcelona. Based on what we wanted from our hotel, we picked the Atrium Palace on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. It filled all our expectations and more. The price was right and included a delicious breakfast with lots of tasty options. The location is perfect. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us with our daily plans. Any request we made was taken care of. Because there are still so many places we did not get to see, we plan on returning to the Atrium Palace on our next visit. I also will also recommend it to our traveler friends.

Definitely is not a 4 star hotel. I can consider it more as a 3 star hotel. The staff was very good polite and helpful, the location is great but the hotel itself it need a full renovation. The rooms are outdated and the bathrooms even worst. The colour at the bedrooms are very dark. The laminate floor is the cheapest one in the market, you can see the damage.
