“One night's stop-over on route south.”

Very clean and interesting village. Really welcomed pets. Very clean and tidy room. Fresh, tasty breakfast available to order.

To be improved

Rooms was spartan and lacke shelving, especially in the bathroom to place your toiletries on. Could definitely do with modernisation. It took a long time and waste of water for the showers to produce hot water. Pressure was great though. Push timer light switch in corridor could do with being on a longer timer setting. I got caught out a couple of times with hands full and struggling in the dark to find my way to my room. Uncomfortable beds with array of sheets/blankets that did not quite stay on the mattress. Also no range of pillows. The one given was far too large and bulky. The other one was far too small, if a pillow at all?

“Alberto is super friendly and spoke good English. Lot of walks for our dog nearby and dog friendly.”

The best

Close to the centre and within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Quiet village surroundings and 4 Kms from Alange which has working Roman bath and Spa. Alberto gave us water and wine glasses.

To be improved

The hotel is predominantly a Restaurant but unfortunately it was closed during our stay but we managed to eat nearby.
