Adosado en la playa, punta brava

On our arrival after a long day travelling we wanted a cup of tea. We looked for a kettle to boil some water and looking in the cupboards began to find that the insides of the cupboards were cluttered with odd bits of crockery some of which was dirty with dried deposits of food there was no kettle, The drawers were filled with unusable and unneeded items but there was no corkscrew and we had shopped on our way and could not open a bottle of wine to cheer us up. Under the sink there had been a leak due to the removal of a dishwasher without capping off the drain point, the overflowing water had caused water to pool in the bottom of the cupboard and corroding the tins stored there. The oven was not clean - I could have cleaned it to an acceptable standard. We decided not to use the oven and instead to use the Microwave- the microwave didn't work so we had to use the oven. The toaster didn't work. There was a knife block with Kitchen knives the handles of which were ingrained with dirt. There was grease and dirt on flexes and in sockets in the kitchen. The property was advertised as supplying toiletries but there were half empty toilet rolls in the bathrooms, there was about 2cm of liquid in the handwash bottles. In the upstairs shower room there were empty shampoo sachets in the soap holder. The property was advertised as having a "Private Pool" which was why we chose it over other properties we considered - the pool took some finding and it turned out to be an inflatable pool, which had either blown or been thrown over the wall onto a vacant plot. We contacted the host and she arranged to come over the following morning and we pointed out all the defects and left her to clean, on our return very little had changed - she came back later in the day with a replacement microwave and a corkscrew. We left behind toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, soaps, and bin liners.

Description said there was a small pool. There was not. Kitchen and rear courtyard could have been cleaner.
