“Disappointing”

Since we first stepped in, we noticed the apartment was cleaned very poorly, with major areas that probably were not revised since a long time. We found hair, dust and dirt brought from outside all around the house. Balconies, curtains and the kitchen furnitures for example were in very bad conditions (see attached photos), not to mention the conditions in which we found the bin in the kitchen once we removed the plastic bag. Moreover, in one of the cupboards in the kitchen we found an open bag of chips from a previous booking. We raised the cleaning issue with the management the day after our arrival and they promptly apologised and promised this would have been addressed the same day. Unfortunately, this never happened and the following day the same story repeated. They told us the cleaning lady would have come to check ‘our needs’ the day after early in morning but nobody showed up. They eventually stopped answering our requests by phone and didn’t get back to us regarding the refund request we submitted. The fact that the reception was unattended was a major drawback as we had no one to speak to face to face to resolve our issue. Overall, the house has a big potential but needs a better maintenance. It was also equipped with few items and some more were missing from the list displayed online - air dryer, cooking pans. One of the two bathrooms had an unpleasant and pungent odor that made it difficult to stay in, especially since the windows were broken and could not be opened to air the room. One bedroom was also missing of a window shutter. The safe was unusable as it was broken.

Big house, with planty of space. The pool was near and clean. I missed few more things in the kitchen for cooking. Although it was super and with the washing machine top. The family had lot of fun.
