“Well equipped house close to the centre, not the best if you have mobility issues”

The best

Location great, only a few hundred yards from the centre on a quiet street. The house was very well equipped with good quality equipment. Both TV's were smart and a good wifi.

To be improved

Manuals on how to work the tv's not provided. Very limited in options for viewing channels. I did manage to be able to set up casting from my phone for the bedroom tv, but could not get it to work with the downstairs tv. Also no input from usb device. The owners had made a very good effort to make a suitable layout. Probably because of my age and mobility, I found the stairs to be far from easy. The positioning of handrails was poor. Having to use the stairs to get from the bedroom to the toilet was not ideal, but a younger person would probably skip up them.

“Beautiful, well equipped home. Ideal for couples or small family.”

The best

The home is beautifully maintained, set up on a hill a few streets away from the main train station. A code was sent for the key box in the morning of our stay. Typical Spanish hustle and bustle in the mornings ( which we enjoyed ) Very quiet and safe at night, with the neighbours always saying Ola to us. Excellent roof terrace, breakfast and BBQ area which is a real suntrap to enjoy a cold drink, with covered area for shade. Bars, restaurants, Bakery, Fish and meat shops a few metres away, and several large and small supermarkets nearby. Home is 2 storeys with roof terrace above. Stairs are quite steep, so if you have walking or other disabilities, maybe this is not the stay for you

To be improved

Stairways were very steep, as I have mobility issues. Maybe a small hand rail maybe fitted to the corner of the stairs leading from the bedroom. No dressing mirror in bedroom. Although sufficient tea/coffee facilities available, Perhaps you could leave a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, instead of having to find a shop to have water for a drink. These are just minor adjustments that can perhaps be made, and are meant as constructional and not a complaint. Overall beautiful.

“Superb”

The best

The owner Ana sent clear instructions for arrival and departure. The house was immaculately clean and had everything you needed if you wanted a self catering holiday. Lovely comfy beds and a great shower on the ground floor.There was great attention to detail throughout. The street was really peaceful but only 7 minutes walk from the station and all the shops and cafes.

The stairs are steep for anybody with mobility problems

“Nice location but apartment not suitable for anyone with a disability or of ample size.”

The best

Location was good,shower was good,bed was comfortable,kitchen was well equiped,nice roof terrace,good to have a charcoal BBQ,good washing machine.

To be improved

Lounge was small and centre ceiling light was overpowering if looking at tv,shower leaked and no proper towel rail or shelf in bathroom.Asked not to BBQ under the terrace roof but no useable light if having a night BBQ apart from this area.No normal height table and chairs to sit at and eat on terrace.No wi-fi on the terrace.Terrace is 2 floors above kitchen so a lot of stairs to go up and down which were very narrow,not suitable for anyone with mobility problems or of large stature.No wi-fi in bedroom,no mirror in bedroom.There is no door between outside roof terrace and kitchen on the back staircase,so open to the elements.No instructions for washing machine or TV.Bathroom on ground floor,so stairs if it was needed at night.

“Amazing place!”

The best

I loved the place itself. It was clean and the place was practical. My friends loved it, as well. A few minutes close to the beach and some restaurants. It was comfortable. I'd book this place again if we were coming back to Benalmadena. Do not miss this gem!

To be improved

Nothing much just maybe another bin in the second floor was missing. Aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations.
