Confusion about inviting guests. One of the main reason I chose this property was because it is clearly designed for at least 4 guests and as we rented it only with my partner I wanted to invite 2 friends over for lunch one day. My assumption was that I invite my friends, we scan their ID for insurance and safety purposes and all would be well. Just to be on the safe side I communicated this to the agency. Communication from the agency is with an AI bot through WhatsApp. The bot said that it is fine and wished us a good time but asked whether I would like them to ask a human just in case. As soon as an actual person took over the whole thing turned into a mess. First I was told that guests are not allowed. In the house rules it says only registered guests are allowed. We said we're very happy to register our guests through IDs etc. I was told that that refers to the guests who rent the property. After, I was told that if we invite guests they would have to pay full price as if they were staying the night. After pointing out that it doesn't say this in the house rules anywhere, I was told that they need to pay 20 euros per person, so that they can be insured. Again, I argued that this isn't stated anywhere in the house rules, only that guests need to be registered and that we are very happy to do this. This went on quite a while, and even though I was supposedly talking to a real person all I received mostly was copy and pasted "template" answers, that most of the time had little to do with what I actually argued. Lastly I was told that the obligatory registration of the guests is a legal requirement by spanish law according to the Real Decreto 933/2021. I pointed out that this one applies only to guests who stay the night, daytime visit are not mentioned in this law. To sum up, they don't seem to have a grasp on their own rules, or the relevant local regulations which is a shame and lets an otherwise great stay down.

To start with, we had cockroaches in our apartment. Shower was not working well, the shower head is not attached, so it requires precision work to get where you want (our whole bathroom was wet as it moves without touching). The bed is very soft, you will sink in, for us terrible to sleep in. The facilities are not worth the money, no airconditioning (was very hot in the apartment, 28 degrees inside) you have 1 wine glass in total, filter coffee, no beds at the swimming pool... And then the communication is a chatbot, we never got any answers, only ‘thank you for letting us know’ on everything. The communication in itself it also quite rude, ‘if you don’t leave by 11 you get a fine’, ‘the owner can enter the apartment without letting you know’ Not something they can do about, but keep in mind the place is filled with kids, so if you want some rest not the place to be.

Cold pool. But it is rare to have a heated pool during this time of the year so no complain at all!
