We are sorry to say we had a difficult night's sleep. Reasons : 1. cooking smells from downstrairs entering and staying in the room all night. 2. Uncomfortable bed - possibly because of the narrow hard mattress on a solid board. 3. Noise from outside the room was very loud and woke us up. 4. We could hear the next door room using the toilet in the night. Other than the lack of sleep, We were dissapointed that the bare bulb in the bedside light would not work due to a faulty electrical connection with the socket, the towels are thin and old, there is no shower gel and no hairdryer. On arrival we asked the host if we could get a cup of coffee or a hot drink. She directed us to a cafe 8 minutes walk away. It made us feel very unwelcome. We almost left after paying but decided to stay anyway. We now regret that decision.
