The best

Staying at Agroturismo Itxaspe was exactly what I needed. The views are surreal — cliffs, sea, and sky all blending into one absolutely breathtaking horizon. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and there’s a calm energy to the whole place. You’re a bit off the grid (and the road up is narrow), but once you arrive, it feels like time slows down. It’s the kind of place that stays with you — peaceful, simple, and full of quiet magic.

To be improved

Nothing. If you’re not driving though, call ahead and make arrangements for pick up and drop off from the station to the hotel. The hosts were more than happy to facilitate the arrangement

“Tranquil, scenic location, clean and forthcoming staff.”

Fantastic location. Grand view of Bay of Biscaya. The small road leading to the place was so scenic. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good, spartan breakfast.

To be improved

When at the pool i was missing a Virgin Mojito :-)

No aircon in rooms, had to leave doors open but no air coming in. Hardly slept due heat. Poor WiFi. Trouble getting on the WiFi. No fridge in room. Furniture very dated Room not very comfortable, no pictures or cushions or anything which made room more appealing Bathroom towels were very crispy and need replacing. Other people had already given this feedback No towels for pool Lots of CCtv in and around property - bit off putting when sunbathing. This property could be massively improved. The rooms were far too basic for my tastes The walk to beach area isn’t too far but very pebbly and steep. Hotel could offer a lift into village service which I’m sure guests would pay for. We got a taxi one night and it worked out well. It was a big mini bus which could have took more people.
