The best

It is a Lovely place in the Middle of the Mountains with breathtaking views, lovely staff and all the facilities that.you need.And the Best addition are the Alpacas running around the fields behind the accomodation.I would definitely return here !

The best

The location was amazing on top of a mountain/hill with beautiful views of the sea and countryside. San Sebastián was 15 minutes drive down hill. The coast road both ways was really lovely but narrow in some parts. Lots of cyclists on the road. It was probably the most relaxing location we have stayed in. The accommodation was rustic but very clean. We had a Labrador and a retriever with us and they were made very welcome. There were numerous animals next to us including goats and alpacas which were lovely to watch while eating our evening meal on the balcony. Parking was excellant. The gardens were very well maintained and provided benches and outdoor tables and chairs so we could sit and watch the sun go down each evening.

To be improved

We weren’t there long enough to find off road paths to walk the dogs but as long as they were on leads we walked the coast road. It was very hot during our stay which attracted a few flies but a can of fly spray last thing at night sorted them out.

“View of the boundless ocean”

It's a very quiet and secluded location. Here, you're truly alone with nature. The terrace overlooks the vast ocean. The birds are singing. The room's wall design is a matter of personal preference. The room and bathroom have a touch of antiquity. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. We had a great rest. We really enjoyed the breakfast, with its stunning ocean views, beautiful presentation, and friendly service.

To be improved

Dripping shower in the bathroom.

“great stay with astonishing view”

The best

I really enjoyed to stay at Maddiola with my cat,when you’re willing to rest away from the city,and still if you need it,not so far with a car .staff was very kind and helpful.I also enjoyed my morning breakfast with their delicious cake.
