“Great and stunning spot for access to Granada.”
Incredibly friendly hosts who met us with the keys, take the advice on how to get to it as Sat Nav does not have local knowledge! Amazingly interesting old mill workings, stunning view over the stream with ducks who come to say Hola, went in early April so sat drinking wine on the terrace in the evening sun looking at the snow capped mountains.
Nothing but perhaps the room was slightly small if you spent much time in there but with good weather not an issue as outside.
“A gem nearby Granada”
A little gem just outside the village. There are 4 apartments on the compound which is beautiful kept. The garden is magnificent with a lot of water and fountains, nice green grass, deckchairs and a small swimming pool to dip in. Fruit trees and grapes above your head while sitting on your terras. The house was charming a bit like you go back in the time. And it was very clean. From here you can easily undertake several hikes and trips. Granada and Alhambra is 20 minutes driving. Arrange your tickets beforehand. Sierra Nevada is 40 minutes driving and suddenly you are on the top of the world. La Alpujarras with the small white villages is nearly 1 hour driving. And there you can undertake several hikes. So beautiful. All kind of different daytrips. In the village you can do three different walks. We did the Mammoet trail. But it took us nearly two hours because the signs are not always there or clear.
The house has two bedrooms but I would not stay here with 4 adults. Only a family with smaller children. The bathroom is very small. Perfect shower though. The matrass needs to be replaced. It was not a very comfortable bed. It is a bit moist inside. And I would place a washing machine in a shared place so people can do their laundry.
