“Location was great but other than that not much...”
The front desk staff were most unhelpful
Smelly rooms, with ants everywhere...
“Overall decent stay.”
The hotel is fine for a short stay, like one or two nights. It felt a bit overpriced for what it offers, but maybe that’s just the standard in Santiago de Compostela. The place is renovated, so everything feels clean and fresh. My favorite part was the 2 in 1 shower gel and shampoo. It was surprisingly good and left my hair soft and smooth, which is rare for hotel toiletries. Beds were comfortable.
There weren’t enough hangers, and the side tables were really small. The hotel uses code locks on the room doors, so you don’t need a key. At first, this seemed modern and convenient. But it ended up causing problems. We were out all day, and when we came back in the late afternoon, our code didn’t work. Since there’s no reception in the afternoon or at night, we couldn’t get into the hotel or our room. During check-in, I was given a phone number to call if there were issues, but only until 8pm. Luckily, it was just before 7pm, so I called and a lady helped unlock the room. But I don’t know what would’ve happened if we came back later. The system didn’t feel reliable, and we were worried about getting locked out again.
“Perfect stop for a night in Santiago.”
Very clean and check in was very easy. Location great.

“Very convenient to city centre, easy access, nice and clean, perfect for our one night stay.”
“Cheap overpriced hotel”
We like the location .
It was SO SO OVERPRICED! Santiago de Compostela had a rock concert for that weekend so this location hiked up the price as it was a 5 star place! Not only that, the first room we were assigned had three single beds put together so the room was so overcrowded. Then it was the issue of safety. The windows ( one small in the bedroom and another small one in the bathroom) opened to an easy to climb in/out roof which also opened to other rooms!!! Then the bathroom had just a sink without any room to put any toiletries. Basically it was like a hostel room? But with the price of a 5 stars hotel. We called Booking. My daughter was 2 hours on the phone! The person who answered put her on hold to talk to a supervisor and never came back! Plus no one in reception. The next day my daughter talked to the receptionist and we were moved to a better room.
“Highly recommended”
