“Staff seemed to really care about each guest and didn’t rush. Very attentive for tired and frazzled pilgrims.”

Staff was extremely helpful and attentive. They helped arrange for transport of my backpack when it was left behind at my last hotel. The room was simple and clean. It had a relaxed atmosphere.

To be improved

They did not supply shampoo or bath soap, but I had brought my own.

“A comfortable Camino stay”
The best

An authentic experience, basic but comfortable and quiet and the perfect spot for continuing the Camino next day.

To be improved

A pity there was no pilgrim menu but they did have a good kitchen to prepare own food, or plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Immaculately clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Very quiet. Great showers although not many for the number of beds in the albergue.

To be improved

Just two plug sockets in the room, one of which was by the door and unusable. Not a problem if you've come prepared for such eventualities.

“Austere room in beautiful building”
The best

Good location on the Camino (but it is next to a busy main road and so the environ is not as atmospheric as the other side of the river); very classy decor in the common areas (although the room itself is a bit run down and austere); front desk staff speaks good English; stone building is naturally cool despite the 38C heat outside!

To be improved

No soap in the bathroom even for hands; nowhere to hang your clothes in the room
