Great location along the Camino.
The owner was super nice and helpful.
Provided sheets, towels, and blankets; coffee offered in the morning.
Great value for the experience provided.
Free coffee for breakfast, good overall.
Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement.
“What a treat. Oozing history and respected restoration. Great bed. Great shower. Lovely Owner Thanks so much”

“Beds are comfortable but that’s the only good thing. · Cons: It smells like humidity inside, and it’s definitely not clean. The kitchen is disgusting, all the cutlery is dirty, and there’s rotten food in the fridge. Toilets didn’t even have toilet paper. The showers were dirty, and not safe, since the women’s toilet it’s literally in the middle of the corridor and you can see everything inside. Also the showers are comunal, there’s no privacy. And no locks. The toilet doors also didn’t close properly. If it wasn’t for how dirty this place is I wouldn’t mind the other things, but there’s bugs everywhere.”

“Well worth the stay, such amazing value and the friendliest host you'll come across.”
Note: Just posted a review for the wrong property 5 minutes ago. This is the correct one. We thought that this was one of the best private albergues we stayed at after 30 days of walking the CN. Carlos the host was fabulous, the paella he cooked that night was tremendous and the private double room was so tastefully decorated it looked like you were in some 4 star flash hotel. Couldn't fault anything, thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this property.
Nothing. 😁
“Quiet, comfortable stop with a gracious, accommodating host. Enjoy!”
Very helpful staff. Great location
Nothing. It meets the needs of peregrinos
“Overall ok, host was nice, location good with grocery shop nearby and right on the Camino trail.”
We arrived after a very long day of walking in the rain and couldn’t really dry our clothes as it was very humid inside as well. We did get an electric heater which was ok and we did our best. The kitchen was nice, but the cleanliness was not there - we had dead bugs in the pots and pans.
“Great place to stay while walking Camino del Norte.”
Location on the Camino del Norte. Had everything we needed. Excellent value for money.
