“Very quirky old place in the middle of the mountains. · Cons: Way too cold in December, no heating offered in room, communal areas quite cold too.No locks on bedroom door, door was broken and wouldn't fully close. Not great when sharing with others. Breakfast was toast and jam, some small cakes, nothing else. Some fruit or yogurt would have been nice. Hostess wasn't up in time for breakfast and felt like we were an inconvenience. If its just a basic breakfast I'm sure people would be happy to just help themselves in the kitchen to what's available in the fridge. Great for hikers I'm sure, not for us, way too rural with nothing and nobody around. Shops miles away.”

Very quiet and remote with wonderful fresh air, excellent hospitality.

A little cool in the room, but the bed had many covers and was very warm once in bed.
