That means that there's less to do and less services available. Also that means that in the following morning, if you're walking on the Camino, you start a little far behind.”

“Quiet location, good resting, great staff”

Very near to two restaurants. In a quiet area, nice garden. Bunk beds with dedicated socket each. Staff very supportive and nice.

“Cons: This albergue is located on the outskirts of town. If you start each day's camino early, then this albergue is not for you. For example, if you leave Arzua at 7 am and walk at a fast pace, then you will arrive in O Pedrouzo by 11 am. But you will not be able to check in at this time and this albergue is located about 2.5 km (or 1.5 miles) from the town itself, so you will have to walk past the albergue to find a place to eat and rest, and then walk back to reach the albergue.”

“We had 6 moms and daughters and stayed in the private room with private restroom. It was a wonderful and easy stay!”

“Incessant dogs barking! Earplugs, a must!”

The owner was fantastic. Took me in his private car to get something to eat after finding out everything was closed.

To be improved

The barking dogs all day and night was incredibly disturbing, disruptive and irritating after a long days walk. The owner said ‘this is a farm’ around us and made a comparison of the barking dogs to chickens and sheep. I do not know why he cannot make a formal complaint to the owners of the animals. I don’t know how anyone would think this is ok.
