“I think it was supposed to be a hostel, if so it was the best hostel I've ever stayed in! We had our own little double room in the eves with a private bathroom next door. Then we had use of a kitchen diner, small lounge and a balcony overlooking the river. It was a a lovely evening so we went for a short walk along the riverbank and over the quirky bridge. There were signposts to some really good riverside walks, but we didn't have time, oh well well just have to come back! · Cons: A slight hiccup with payment meant we had to find a cash machine. It worked out, but would have been slightly easier if we could have done the payment through booking.com the same as our other stays. Not going to deter us coming back though if we get the chance.”

“Great location. Rural village with good bars and cafes, small supermarket and pretty plaza. The Albergue has lovely view over river Duero from its terrace and kitchen/dining area. Ideally placed for walking and cycling around the local wine producing area. Plenty of space for my bicycle. Relaxed and helpful host (via WhatsApp).”

“Everything is new with good facilities. Easy to follow instructions. Good firm beds and quality large towels. This is not just a hostel its a four star hostel · Cons: Our room was in the atic with low ceiling beams. Beware and no view.”

“Excellent house for a large family or group of friends.”

The best

Excellent modern/new house finished/fitted to a high standard. Ideal for larger family / group of friends who can take all of the house (4 bedrooms I think). 2 balconies directly overlooking river would be ideal for family social time. Lovely kitchen & dining area. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Host was very welcoming (but doesn't live on-site.)

To be improved

Only reservation is location. It was down extremely narrow back-streets. But parking in the square close by would make this an ideal base for a group for a weekend or a week of family time. Multiple occupation with strangers is catered for but imo would make the dynamics very different.
