“The hostel is a great stay and great value for money but they didn’t respect the guests sleep with how loud the karaoke&”

The best

The hostel is very nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and private. Everything is fairly new. And the location is very nice, being in town. The staff is nice as well.

To be improved

The reason why I can’t give it a higher score it’s because the night we stayed there was a karaoke and bingo night going on, and you could heat everything from our room. They told us that it would be going on until 12 am but it lasted until 2 am, my group and I had to wake up early the next day and it really affected our sleep.

“A Bad Experience”

The best

Looked very nice ... but no one was there to let us in :-(

To be improved

Unfortunately we could not get in and when we tried to contact them we got no reply so had to jump on a bus to the next village as there were no other hotels in La Hermida with room :-(

“The location was fine. Very hard to find the lodging when we arrived in the small hamlet of La Hermida. Heat didn't work the forrst night, but the staff fixed it so it was fine for the second and third nights. · Cons: Very hard to find the lodging location initially.”

“Overall, a great spot!”

The best

We loved the location, both central and right in the middle of nature! We also loved the outdoor area with table tennis, swing ball, and grass for the kids to run around, and it was fun cooking and dining in the outdoor kitchen area. (We didn't have a pot and the managers kindly lent us one for the duration of our stay). We loved the canyoning activity we booked with the company run by the owners: it was perfect for our family (great fun, but safe enough). We also loved that we could walk down the river a few hundred meters to go and relax in the hot spring in the river, which was good fun.

To be improved

The mattresses in our dorm room were foam that was comfortable for our kid, but after a few hours I woke up as I could feel the wood below (sorted by sleeping on top of the duvet). The doors were creaky, which meant that I woke up every time someone went to the bathroom.
