“Nice clean room but need to have better communcation”
The accommodation was spotless and within walking distance of the city centre.
There was no kitchen at the Albergue and no glasses, cups or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I also arrived at the Albergue but there was no one on site. I did not receive any instructions about how to gain access to my room upon arrival so assumed someone would be at the premises. After contacting the property through booking.com, I was finally let into my room about half an hour after my arrival.
“Good for student groups, not a comfy getaway”
We were able to park our car on the street right out front.
I'd made the reservation from home over two months in advance. Maybe that's why I had no memory of booking single bunkbeds in a "family room" in what I'm pretty sure is a convent, for my partner and me. This place would be great if you were traveling with a group of students, or your very large family (our room had 3 sets of bunk beds and another single bed). Also it was not cheap, our room had a faint sewage smell, and there was no "breakfast available" as advertised, nor even a kitchen to use or store food in. All in all, it was a very confusing experience, thankfully for only 2 nights. Also, it's quite a long walk from the center of town. Maybe (in my defense) this town, which is not listed in most guide books, did not have many options for accommodations? Being some of the only tourists around was both a plus and a minus.
