“Cons: We stayed a night at this property on June 28 th 2025. We were having a wonderful time - great staff, great location and felt very clean, until we got eaten alive by BED BUGS. My friend had 80 bites. We got very little sleep. It was horrendous. If you stay at this property, avoid beds that have twin wall cardboard under the mattress, as this is what they were living in. I have not been able to contact the property to be assured that this problem has been delt with and all the cardboard removed.”

“Close to the cathedral”

Was close to the cathedral, beds were made upon arrival, well stocked kitchen, got a towel.

I messaged the albergue two days before my arrival to ask for a lower bunk as I was walking from Padron which is approximately 26 km away. The lady said I couldn’t reserve a lower bunk which was the first time I wasn’t able to in a private albergue on my whole Camino. Let me also say that I was staying there for three days. On the second day of my stay, I see a note on the bed next to me saying that it was - reserved! This really ticked me off and made me wonder what is the criteria for being able to reserve a lower bunk here?
