“Had everything needed for Camino walking, handwashing and machines for laundry, full kitchen facilities or book the evening pilgrim meal at 6.30pm. Lovely welcome from staff on arrival. Has a xovered, outside terrace to relax in and washing line. · Cons: The rooms were very hot and everything creaks - the floorboards and all the door handles. The beds were small. Breakfast for €3 was advertised 2 pieces toast, coffee and yogurt. We only got one piece but ready for us at 6am.”

“Great albergue”
The best

An excellently run albergue with lots of space. They placed me in the empty, upstairs bunk room since I stayed two nights. The pilgrims dinner was top notch. Delicious enough to have twice.

To be improved

I would suggest they install screens on the windows. It gets stuffy and hot and you either deal with the heat or flies / mosquitoes. I think a pair of those hanging screens with magnetic closures would be perfect.

The best

I loved this hostel. I had been walking all day in the rain and was totally fed up. I was welcomed in and given dinner like I was one of the family and I felt really cared for. The evening meal was exceptional and I would strongly recommend you have it. I slept like a well fed baby.

To be improved

I loved it all. There were only four people sleeping in a room that could sleep many more so not sure how it would be for bathrooms and so on if it was full - but it wasn’t so that not an issue.
