“Passable”

The best

The location, close to the sea and walkway, is perfect. The facilities at the resort are nice with a gym, sauna and tennis/padel courts. The apartment is spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the bed is comfortable.

To be improved

During most of the days there was a bad sewer smell on the terrace and we could not sit outside. We notified the host several times who talked to maintenance people at the resort, but the problem was not solved. The communication in English with our Russian host was difficult at times maybe because of the language barriers. We felt she did not take our complaints seriously since she never checked with us whether it was solved. By talking to the working people myself I found out it was probably caused by the apartment next door where the kitchen was being renovated, also one day causing so much noise by continuous drilling that we had to flee the apartment. These issues really spoiled our stay. Without these problems I would have given the apartment an 8.

“A lovely, light and well-equipped apartment with lots of on-site facilities.”

The best

lovely sunny apartment close to the pool and the beach with a very comfortable bed and lovely ensuite. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the complex has good tennis and padel courts which you can use for free. There is also a gym and sauna.

To be improved

We could have done with a bit more sofa space in the evenings.

“We really enjoyed it, thank you, Igor.”

The best

The resort is really pretty and we were there in October, so it was really quiet. Pools were still opened and we had them for ourselves. Igor was giving us tips about how to enjoy Estepona. It was really nice stay. There were toys for kids as well as other equipment you might need when travelling with kids.

To be improved

The matress in the master bedroom was really soft and the sofa in the living room was not comfy, but we were spending most of the time outside anyway :)
