“Great place, lovely house and a fantastic host!”
The best

Quiet area, small beach with very few visitors a few steps away. Close enough to cities for some shopping but far enough for rural privacy. Wonderful views. The house was large and of a high standard with quality materials. Great views from the house and in the area. Just wish there was a rooftop solarium as that would have a great view. (A hottub or small plungepool would be great too...but with the semi-private beach it's not a must as one spends a lot of time there anyway). The houses are freshly painted regularly and quite clean. The host Juan Miguel (who lives with his family in the house infront) was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, kind, friendly and helpful which was very much appreciated during the power cut throughout all of Spain while we were there. Juan Miguel together with his family were very generous and wonderful to us during our stay. The best host experience one can wish for. We definitely will be hoping to come back soon.

To be improved

The house had some minor details that were beeing seen to, but not a real major problem for us. Further away, there were some louder dogs in the area that felt like having a chat across their fences, sometimes a bit loudly. This, however, was not constant. We wish we had been offered the second house closer to the west side of the plot (maybe mention that while booking if that is what you want) with a nicer sunset view, but both houses were very similar otherwise and have lovely views in general. We would hope for a better privacy division between the 2 houses for rent (there was none while we were there) as when some people rented the other one late in our stay, their dogs kept on coming over to us. We like dogs, but while not expecting them, it felt a bit like we wanted a better division from our neighbours that were coming over to fetch their dogs. Worth mentioning is the fact that the AC/heatpump cooling/heating is only available in the livingroom on the ground floor. During our stay in April that was OK but during the hotter/colder months it may be an issue for some as for example opening windows where most of the mosquito nets were inoperable may be an issue. The main bedroom bed was a bit narrow for us but not too bad. It may be that we are simply used to a wider one and that's why we noticed. These were all minor issues and would NOT stop us from booking again.

“Exceptional”
The best

The villa is very spacious, fully equipped with all you need. The views are stunning, the place makes you feel you are treared as a royalty. Juan Miguel is a very caring host. He gave us regular supplies of bio quality vegetables from his greenhouse throughout our stay. When we needed help, he came and made things right very quickly. He went above and beyond all the time. His puppy Bruno technically became part of our family as well during the stay.

To be improved

Not something we disliked, but something to plan with. The place is a bit distant from everything around, so you need a car.

“Superb”
The best

Amazing views of the sea in a beautiful villa. Lots of living space and a well equipped kitchen. The host is wonderful and made us feel super welcome. A perfect place to get away for a bit of peace on quiet.

To be improved

It would be good to have aircon in the bedroom instead of fans.
