“This was my 3rd visit to Caleta De Fuste, and I would happily consider staying at Alegria again.”
The best

Alegria is exactly as advertised. It was spotlessly clean, and everything worked as it should. I stayed mid March, and the temperature was 22-25 degrees, so the ceiling fans came in handy in the evening. The complex pool and pool area were not crowded, and the loungers were easily available. The pool was pristine, but is not heated, so I was not quite brave enough to use it... but others did enjoy it. There is a small poolside bar/shop, but I cannot comment as I did not use this. The area is aprox 10 mins walk from the beach, with many bars, restaurants and shops. There is a much closer, local mini supermarket (3 min walk) with a good selection. There is a great bar opposite the complex, Zanzibars, (very friendly staff and great service) that offer live sports, bingo, live music. Behind Zanzibars you will find a popular restaurant, but be advised to book your table. There are other bars/restaurants nearby. I had no issues during my stay, so had no need to contact Ismael, but found communication was excellent on the lead up to my visit, and when coming to the end of my stay. Perfect host.

To be improved

My only polite suggestion would be to consider fitting a wider blind on the front door. This would allow better privacy when inside the property, especially in the evening when the lights are on. And for me, the mattress was too firm (and I like a firm mattress). That said, the pillows were amazing, the best I have used.

The fact there was no English Channels was explained all English channels were no longer available which was a shame really but not there fault
