The best

A lovely host met us on arrival. She was very friendly! The apartment was larger than expected, very pleasant and comfortable. There were balconies on both sides. It was a couple of minutes walk to the beach and nearest tram stop. There was a shop just outside the complex that had everything we needed for catering within the apartment. It has two double rooms, and one room with a single bed and a bunk-bed, so it should suit families. It was approximately 20min on the tram into the centre of Alicante. It is a quiet area at night, but easy to get in and out of the city centre if you want a night out. We didn’t have a car, but I understand there would have been plenty of free parking if we had need it.

To be improved

The only minor disappointment was the main swimming pool was not open. There was some building happening around it, and we were told it would not be open until the summer (July & August) [we stayed in June]. But there was another smaller pool within the same complex that was only 2min walk away that was still big enough for our kids to enjoy. So we did not miss the larger pool too much.
