Alicate Beach Marbella by ELE Apartments

Well… where to start? – Upon arrival, my daughter found old, dirty socks in a cabinet. Not nice at all (see photo). – In the children’s bedroom, there was a loose fixture with exposed wires and a bulb. Not child-safe. It was unstable and could have easily hurt someone (see photo). – The cleaning seemed rushed or overlooked. Spider webs were visible throughout the house, especially in corners. We don’t mind spiders; we mind that no one bothered to clean them. – The washing machine hadn’t been cleaned (see photo), and the dryer didn’t work at first due to a full water tank (error message). This wasn’t a huge issue on its own, but combined with everything else, it showed a lack of attention from the cleaning team. At that point, we contacted the ELE apartment team. While they replied quickly, their response suggested we were at fault. They said someone would return shortly, as the cleaning “wasn’t finished.” 1.5 hours later, no one showed up. We contacted them again, asking if we could get softer extra pillows. They agreed, but no one came. When we followed up, they apologized, saying it was too late to send anyone. Additionally, one of the kitchen light fixtures was faulty, flickering on and off until it caused a power cut. For safety reasons, we stopped using it. The next morning, while setting breakfast, the power went out again. And again, when we were showering, it cut out once more. Another issue: one of the shower drains was clogged, causing the bathroom floor to flood. Our conclusion: While the apartment itself is a bit dated, the area and layout are comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately, don’t expect any help if you need something—no one from ELE will actually assist you. They’ll respond politely, express their regrets, and thank you (silently) for doing the quality control they should have done in the first place. Maybe they’ll fix things for the next tenant—but definitely NOT for YOU.

The master shower and sink drain slow..

The apartement has got problems with the moisture - there is a horrible odour, mold on the walls and plaster falling off the walls. It takes weeks to solve it and the walls need to be renovated. The worst walls are in the living room and in the children’s bedroom.
