Alix Boutique

They are a fine place, don't get me wrong, but definitely not a boutique hotel. Walking distance (15') from Indirex, but the walk is complicated (no paths or sidewalks). If you are in Arteixo for work, and you get a good rate (under 60€), you can stay there. Otherwise, pass.

This is a nice simple hotel. But it is located in the industrial area of arteixo. So there is nothing much to do or see here. Lots of trucks around as well. We stayed here as it was in walking distance of one of our customers who we where visiting. The hotel itself is small but surprisingly modern. The rooms where of a decent size with good beds, bathroom, TV and safe. The rooms are up to date and the bathroom was also clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the basement and is simple. They do have freshly baked croissants, orange juice and also cereals, bread, sliced cheese and salami. Coffee and tea. But do not expect a gigantic spread. If you need to be in Arteixo and want to stay close by then this is the perfect hotel. If not then stay away from Arteixo and get a hotel in A Coruna. From this hotel Coruna is about 10-15 mins cab ride away.

My experience with the Hotel Arteixo Alix Boutique was very negative. I want to warn those who think to enjoy the amenities of a 4 star hotel @144 euros rate as it costed to me. After several months of the night that I passed, I'll try to give a fair judgement. Arteixo is in a commercial area not far from the airport. Alix Boutique is a very small hotel. The reception was desert and closed, when the receptionist appeared and opened the entrance gate. I asked him to pay immediately because early in the morning I had to take the first flight to Madrid. Gave my credit card and documents. He proceeded with check in, assigned me the room and gave back the credit card to me. He told me to go into the room while he had to complete the procedure and print the bill. The room (4 star hotel) is staggering: just behind the front door a little sink with under the towel. The bathroom is tiny and obviously with no sink. I have to be careful how I wash my hands for not flooding the entrance. After a few minutes the receptionist arrived to make me sign the credit card receipt and tells me that i will find later the bill in the front desk. I note that the room is not worth that price Told me he can't do anything about it and that la Coruna is completely booked for the weekend. I understand that they have raised their prices for the occasion. Patience. I just need to sleep and get on a plane. Later I go down at the bar-breakfast room behind the front desk. Sad, deserted, unadorned and shabby. I take the bill and go out to look for a restaurant nearby. The next day i left the hotel at dawn (no breakfast) and I'm on the plane. Once at home I discover that the receipt, while the same amount (144 euros) credit card is different from mine. A few weeks after my agency asks me 35 euros for having had to (re) pay the amount of the room. To sleep one night at Hotel Arteixo Alix Boutique costed 144 + 35 euros = 179 euro. I think 35-40 euro is a more appropriate rate to appreciate the accommodation. No further comment for accuracy in credita card receipts management. Once more: BE VERY CAREFUL with this hotel.

Hotel with a modern style and comfortable rooms. The room was a single place where the shower is in the same place, only the restroom is isolated. The wi-fi was very acceptable and the beg was perfect. The staff was very kindly. I will repeat if I need to be in Arteixo.

I was for business and I went to this hotel. Staff it's friendly and helpful. Breakfast it's small but on average standard. Wifi in my room was partially covered. Room on the road side wasn't extremely silent. Inside rooms are newly refurbished and very clean. Price are good and cheap do I will return

Hotel alix was perfect for us.... It was cheaper as we got it on a deal site so saved a lot of money (great way to travel by the way). we had a car so took us 2 min to drive to beach, 15 min to A coruna, and plenty of malls etc around. We had room service first night as we were too tired to go out- very reasonable prices, friendly/ helpful service, basic but tasty food. Couple of local food gems around- check out trip advisors food section for local area. Next doors meant to be great...(haven't tried yet but maybe tonight). Room is spacious, very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Would recommend!
