Almeida Deluxe - 200 metres from Las Canteras beach

Adjoining the building and only 20 metres from the bedroom window is a late night music/dance bar which plays very loud music continuously from 2400 until 0600 the following morning SEVEN nights a week . This music reverbates throughout the night and prevents quality sleep, we had noise induced poor sleep every night of our 10 day stay. It was so bad my wife who is a light sleeper wanted to leave the apartment and find quieter accommodation. Also mounted on the wall outside the bedroom window is a very large orange street light, this keeps the bedroom in an orange glow all night as there is no blackout curtain fitted to the window this also affects the quality of sleep in the apartment. There is no air conditioning in the apartment but two large ceiling fans which Im sure work well in the summer to help cool the apartment however we stayed 10 nights in February and the apartment was uncomfortably cold in the mornings and evenings and no source of heat is available, a small hot air blow heater would solve this issue very simply. The apartment and location are very good but for the above reasons I would not book this apartment again.
