“Great B&B in cute, authentic town with perfect hosts”
The best

Ken and Jo were the perfect hosts at this gorgeous B&B. Breakfasts was delicious and they had great reccos for where to eat in town. The pool area is well maintained and a lovely sun spot in which to relax in the afternoon.

To be improved

The building does not have air con as is very old so just worth bearing in mind depending on the time of year you visit. They do provide fans though.

The property was very quaint. In a fantastic location. The room was very in keeping with the property. Beautiful breakfast garden. The lounge’s were so relaxing. Pool area and adjoining shaded area outstanding. The property was inaccurate throughout

The best

We had a wonderful time at Almohalla 51! The hotel is centrally located and easy to access. The old village cottage has been restored to perfection with beautiful paintings and other works of art. Ken and Jo are fabulous hosts and have a wonderful eye for detail. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh, local produce and the cocktails by the pool were thoroughly appreciated! We would highly recommend this hotel for anybody wanting a peaceful retreat and looking for a personalised experience. Thank you, Ken and Jo!

Beautifully presented, an oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of a town

To be improved

One very small thing - a mini fridge in the rooms with regular supply of cold filtered water would have been brilliant.

“Like a private villa”
The best

We spent two nights as the only guests here and had a wonderful time, feeling that we had booked a private villa. The owners are very friendly and did everything to make us feel at home. Small touches like complimentary cake and tea/coffee in the afternoon, bringing us cold water and ice cubes by the pool adds to the experience. Breakfast is very tasty and prepared with love. We loved the pool area. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good shower too and even a bath tub. Good fans are provided but I must admit that I missed aircondition at night since the temperature was very high during our stay. Ken offered great tips for restaurants and things to do, including the special experience of buying cookies from the nuns in the local monastery.
