The location was 25 minutes walk from the beach. Walkable but not close, especially in the heat.

The hotel was an apartment converted to fit in as many people as possible. Our room clearly used to be a lounge/living room. The door was glass with some paper stuck to it but that didn't block out the light from the hallway and we had another guest open our door in the morning clearly thinking it was a room they were able to use. The shower ran cold and the curtain could not be pulled all the way as the railing had clearly been broken and improperly been put back on the wall. There were also 3 different locks/keys needed to get into your room. It clearly felt like someone's converted house, and fell below my expectations of booking.com.

You hear everything, very good acoustics, opening of the doors or doors closing, people walking….Lock on the doors isn’t as safe as I assumed

“A good option just a short walk from the centre”

Perfect for our requirements. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Just a 12 minute walk to the historic centre. Free parking on the streets nearby. Shops, pharmacy, bars etc next to the building. Very quiet.

The customer service was pretty awful. It def left a bad taste in our mouths. They Wouldn’t let us check us bags 2 hours before checkin. However, we were offered early checkin for 5 euro which we accepted. Never was it communicated that we would need to leave cash for this. We arrived at 1pm for early checkin, which we had agreed on. we were told to WhatsApp the manager when we were outside. We messaged a few min after 1, no response and the message wasn’t seen. We called and it sounded noisy, she said she was going to let us in but that didn’t end up happening a lady from the building let us in. There is no one to help you on arrival, a detailed list of instructions to get into each door. we asked if we could keep our bags until 1pm. We were told no, not possible. So we departed for the airport. I then received a message saying the money was missing. I assumed the payment of 5euro would go through my credit card, which I said. I then received a rude message “no, I said leave cash”. I rechecked my messages it was no where it said to leave cash! We were already on our way to the airport and communicated this and it was demanded we pay by transfer. Frankly, this kind of service isn’t worth the place.
