“We enjoyed our two week stay in Murcia, a relaxed traditional Spanish city.”

The best

The apartment was comfortable and the location was excellent. Murcia is a wonderful small city, with a great history and buildings, art galleries and museums - some of them free - lots of parks and gardens, river walks, lovely plazas for outdoor dining, and excellent shops, all of which are only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. There are also lots of amenities like shops, cafes and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. Public transport is close by, cheap and efficient, and it is easy to access beautiful beaches and the mountains.

To be improved

A small point. The accommodation is advertised with a patio. From a British perspective a patio is a paved area large enough to sit out at a table and chairs for meals. The apartment has only a small balcony.

“Terrible, no hygiene standards, avoid wasting you money on this place”

The location was very easy to walk from to the main old town. Lots of cafes around. Glad to see that there was an elevator for our bags

To be improved

The apartment STANK of cigarettes!! Sofa was dirty, pillows again smelt bad of sweat and cigarettes- big stains and marks The bedsheets and pillow also smelt so strong and bad as if someone was sleeping in there smoking! Disgusting! My elderly mum went into a full asthma phase in that apartment. Both of us hardly slept and left as soon as we could in the morning with headaches It was almost unbarable 🤮 we couldn't keep the windows open at night as the road was super noisy Bathroom is super small, shower was full of someone elses hair 🤮 Host didn't think it was a big deal 🙈 I asked for a refund for these conditions- I got ignored ! Parking also a Terrible!! Street parking only allowed for 2 hours. Nearest car park is a 15min walk! Not fun with heavy bags and a 79 year old mother (this is not the apartments fault but very inconvenient)
