The apartment was very bright, clean and also well equipped, great effort had been put into the interior design The big outdoor terrace was a real bonus and it had lots of plants which made it very restful, it had a good mixture of sun and shadow throughout the day. There is a supermarket cafes and restaurants near by. The centre city area is a pleasant 10 minutes walk along the seafront.

The apartment had everything you needed and a wonderful patio and a balcony. We ate all our meals on the patio and watched the sunsets from the balcony. It was convenient for restaurants, takeaways, small shops and supermarket. I also made use of the freezer centre at the top of the road to buy small amounts of prepared fruit and vegetables. The bus station is about 15 minutes walk. If you don’t like resorts but want to explore the island this is the place for you. We used the buses to visit a lot of the small museums and to find walks. We left 2 walking poles and a Sunflower walking guide in the apartment for others to use, as we were travelling with hand luggage. The poles were useful as a lot of the paths are stony

The staff were great and made sure we had what we needed before letting us settle in for our stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a week. The garden terrace is peaceful and not overlooked by anyone. An unexpected kind gesture was an offer of a lift by Manuel to the airport complments of the apartment.
